Travelling from Dublin by Car
- On entering Cork City watch out for the signs for Limerick on your left on the Dual Carriageway.
- Take the exit for Limerick N20
- Go over the flyover and drive past the Silversprings up the hill.
- At the traffic lights at the top of the hill turn left, and turn left again at the next set of traffic lights.
- Continue on this road for approx 1.5 miles to a junction called St. Luke’s Cross.
- You will notice a green kiosk in the centre of this junction.
- Turn right the junction and The Address Cork is the second turning on the right.
Travelling by Public Transport from Dublin
- Travelling from the Capital to Cork City has never been so simple. The Go Bus leaves every hour on the half hour and The Aircoach leaves every hour on the hour. Both buses leave from Dublin Airport or Dublin City Centre and takes approximately 3 hours to get to Cork.
- You can also get the train (Irish Rail) from Dublin Heuston to Cork Kent Station and the journey takes approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes. Train ticket prices vary depending on how far in advance you book.
Travelling from Limerick
- Coming from the Mallow Road
- Bypass Blarney.
- Up the dual carriageway, on the left is the Commons Inn, McDonalds bypass these.
- You will come to a set of Traffic lights keep going straight, (Dunnes Stores Blackpool Shopping Centre will be on your left)
- You will then come to another set of traffic lights & go left, up to another set go straight through.
- Turn right at the Ballyvolane Dunne Stores – signs saying City Centre
- Straight through next traffic Lights
- Drive to the next cross road (green Kiosk on your right)
- Turn right and then the next right
- The Address Cork is on your right as you go up the Hill.
Travelling by Public Transport from Limerick
- The easiest way to get to Cork from Limerick is to get the train from Limerick Colbert to Limerick Junction (change trains) to Cork Kent. The journey takes approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes and costs €10.00.
- There is a direct bus from Limerick City to Cork City and takes 1 hour and 25 minutes.
Travelling from Cork City
- Through the main Street “St. Patricks Street” continue forward onto St Patricks Bridge – N8
- Turn right onto Maccurtain Street – N8
- At the end of the MacCurtain Street, take the turn to the left, “Summerhill North”
- At the top of the hill you will come to a cross roads, St. Lukes Cross
- Turn left and left again, The Address Cork is on the right half way up the hill.
Public Transport from Cork Airport
- From Cork Airport, you can take the bus (Bus Eireann) number 225 or 226 to the city centre in Cork and Parnell Place Bus Station, which is the main bus station in Cork City.
- To get to the hotel from the bus station, you will need to walk to Patrick Street to the bus stop which is located outside Eason’s bookstore. Here, you can take the number 208 bus to St. Luke’s Cross. From St. Luke’s Cross you will need to walk up Wellington Road and take the second right where we will be located halfway up this hill on the right-hand side.
