Walking in Historical Cork City, the “Rebel City”

Discover a new way to walk when staying at the newly refurbished Address Cork.

More than 25 years of research has shown that walking may be the single best exercise you can do to improve your health. It burns calories (about 100 for every mile you walk) which will help you lose weight, it builds endurance, enhances muscle tone and it doesn’t pound your joints.

…Exciting, historical, full of life, Cork City will bowl you over. One of the main cultural citys of Ireland, the “Rebel City” is brimming with exciting experiences. Cork Public Museum, University College Cork and Cork City Gaol are must-sees and if you fancy being outdoors there are sereval highly recommended walking tours that bring you on a journey through the city’s streets and buildings like Shandon Steeple (also known as St. Annes) and the South Parish area that hosts Cork’s oldest building: Red Abbey.
