Initially an indie success story, The Coronas have been building their fan base for over a decade, becoming one of Irelands most loved and respected live acts in the process.
Last year, they released ‘Time Stopped’, which went straight to number 1 in the album charts, becoming the first and only independent Irish act in history to score 3 consecutive number 1 albums. “The Marquee is a special venue in the story of The Coronas”, says lead singer Danny O’Reilly. “There’s magic in Cork and in that tent in particular that is impossible to match anywhere else.”
