Liverpool comedian John Bishop will return to Cork’s Live at the Marquee this summer as well as confirming a gig in West Cork the previous evening.
His new tour ‘Back At It’ will come to the Marquee on June 6, with tickets on sale from Ticketmaster from Monday at 10am.
He will also play De Barra’s in Clonakilty on June 5.
Bishop shared his excitement on social media about his return to Ireland, where he will bring his tour to 11 venues across the county, including Limerick, Kerry and Galway.
“I am heading back to my spiritual home,” he said.
“Excited to announce my ‘Back At It’ tour will be coming to Ireland in May and June! Tickets will be on sale this Monday at 10am.”
Bishop last played Live at the Marquee in 2022 when he memorably invited the Cork City Samba Band to open both of his nights at the venue after happening upon them busking during a night out in Cork City.
