St Lukes Village
Live at St Lukes.
The Address Cork located in St Luke’s a suburb of Cork City. With a small village within walking distance of local amenities whichinclude Griffith College, bars, a church and shops. Giving that village feel.
St Luke’s Church is located on the site of two former churches. It features fine stained glass windows, a beautiful organ and pillars of red marble. St Luke’s was an active house of worship until 2003.
St Luke’s Church is an impressive structure built in Cork City in the 19th century. It is the third church to be constructed on the site and opened in 1889 after the previous house of worship had been destroyed in a fire two years earlier.
The church ceased to be a place of worship in 2003 and has since been taken over by the Tigh Filí Cultural Centre. It has undergone restorations and is used as a space for artistic and community gatherings.
Live At St. Luke’s, a spiritual experience. Amazing music in a unique environment.
Previous acts to grace the stage at St Luke’s are HOTHOUSE FLOWERS, JERRY FISH, DECLAN O’ROURKE + STRING QUARTET & BAND, DAVID KITT, just to name a few.
