Cian Ducrot Concert Cork

Cian Ducrot has announced Cork and Dublin gigs for 2024.

Ducrot shot to fame over the past two years after releasing his songs All For You and I’ll Be Waiting. 2023 has been an incredible year for the Corkman, who has part French heritage.

His debut album Victory soared to the top of the album chart in both Ireland and the UK and his biggest Irish tour to date sold out in a matter of minutes.

Now, the 26-year-old has announced he’ll play two outdoor shows next summer. One in St Anne’s Park in Dublin on June 7 and a hometown show in Musgrave Park on June 28.

He said he is “lost for words” to be performing in Cork, in particular.

Despite his music gaining popularity initially through TikTok, Ducrot (pronounced due-crow) was far from an overnight success. He busked for years, surging sofas, holding pub gigs in Cork and taking on random jobs to fund writing trips to London and LA.

Growing up, Cian was surrounded by music, teaching himself guitar, piano, saxophone and violin. He studied at London’s Royal Academy of music but always veered towards pop music.

Ducrot says collaboration and connecting with his audience is a priority. He was recently invited to co-write with SZA in Los Angeles. The resulting song is set for future release.
