NEW HOTEL BRAND ‘THE ADDRESS COLLECTIVE’ LAUNCHES
“A defining new standard in 4-Star luxury accommodation in Dublin and Cork”
The Ambassador Hotel, Cork has rebranded as “The Address Cork”, which forms part of “The Address Collective” hotel group, a new standard in 4-star luxury hotel accommodation. Following the completion of a significant upgrade of our guest bedroom and public areas we are delighted to include ‘The Address Cork” in the new hotel group family which also consists of The Address Connolly and The Address Ctywest, formerly known as the North Star Hotel & The Address @ Dublin 1, and the Kingswood Hotel, Citywest respectively.
The Address Collective is owned and managed by Brian and Ciara McGettigan and forms part of the wider McGettigan Hotel Group which now operates 9 hotels across Ireland and the Middle East.
Over the past two years, each of these properties have undergone significant investment to create a new standard in Irish hospitality defined by the brand as ‘The Address Collective Standard’. This represents a unique and personal guest experience in a truly eclectic and luxury environment.
The concept for The Address Collective was deceptively simple, we want to provide our guests with a unique and safe 4-star hotel experience, filled with special touches that surprise and delight. Our vision was to create an overarching hotel identity and level of excellence – what we call ‘The Address Collective Standard’ – while enabling our hotels to retain their unique local identities.
The Address Collective is fully committed to operating as a responsible business within the community and has implemented an Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) strategy that will enable the group to set goals and measure activity across the entire portfolio. Furthermore, each hotel is a member of the Green Hospitality Programme (GHP) with an individual target set to achieve environmental certification by the end of 2020 through a strong focus on Environmental Management System implementation (EMS), benchmarking, KPI’s and targeting, resource efficiency – energy/carbon, water and waste minimisation.
